I didn’t think the hill workout could get any tougher than the hill repeats we did last Wednesday. WOW! Is all I can say to that one. My running partner has all his hill workouts mapped out in his head. I asked tonight how he found them and he said “just running around.” Did I mention that he’s 59 and I’m 34. He kicks my ass every run and he’s qualified for Boston in 2009. So, needless to say, I’ve got a great running partner that keeps me moving and motivated. So, if there’s anyone out there struggling with the training, I highly recommend a running partner. Makes all the difference.
I had no idea there are so many “killer hills” in Calgary. Learn something new everyday.
I’m going to run the Canmore Rocky Mountain 1/2 marathon on Sunday. Using it as a training run.
